Animal Sale

The laboratory rat has made invaluable contributions to cardiovascular medicine, neural regeneration, wound healing, diabetes, transplantation, behavioural studies and space motion sickness research. Rats have also been widely used to test drug efficacy and safety.

Research for education purpose, Research for commercial purpose, Breeding for in-house use and Breeding for the purpose of trade on small animals

Training Facilities

Laboratory mice, species Mus musculus, commonly used mammalian research model in genetics, physiology, psychology, medicine and other scientific disciplines. Mice belong to the Euarchontoglires clade, which includes humans.

CRO Facilities

Established on 29th December 2017, the Centre for Laboratory Animal Research and Training (CLART) under West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Ltd. is located at Buddhapark, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal. It aims toward “Breeding for the purpose of trade on small animals” under the CPCSEA of Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India.

All the laboratory animals of CLART are being used for experimentation in different aspects of physiology, pathology, immunology, oncology and neuroscience, which are monitored by specially designed software and digital identification system.
